Tough times...

Hey,

I'm sorry I missed class last week again...unfortunately there was another death at home in Belfast. A close member of my extended family died. I have now lost too people close to my heart within three weeks, both from cancer. The sooner the smoking ban in enclosed places comes in, the better. It's a horrible way to suffer, and I don't wish it upon anyone. Nora Brennan and Irene Patterson, rest in peace...

As for Multimedia, I am currently sitting in my room, about to commence the organisation of my notes and scrawlings from various brainstorming sessions that we have had as a group. I will attempt to create some order from the raw materials and concepts that we have added to our own vision recently. I appreciate my team's patience with me at this difficult time, but I'll be firing on all cylinders again soon, just as soon as I regain my bearings...

The last meeting that I had was last week, on Friday evening, with Adrian, our visual expert. We drew up a "siteplan", a map of where each link would lead you on the site, and Adrian has already begun work on the promotional video that we had hoped to submit on the last deadline (as you may recall, we couldn't get the footage off the tape because the camera went back to Media Stores and Media Stores closed...D'oh!!). However, our priority must be the creation of the web pages, so we have been looking at different Flash options to create links, and we will probably use Photoshop to mock up images that we can incorporate into Dreamweaver, which will help us to link our site together as a whole entity.

Eranta is currently engaged in developing promotional material, and Eugene is coming up with some audio samples that we can use to evoke certain moods and to add character to our site and advertising.

So...I'd better get back on the ball with my organisation, eh?!...Spank you for your time...

B
